Real Madrid suffered their first defeat of the Rafa Benitez era on Sunday evening as they lost 3-2 to Sevilla.
The result leaves Los Blancos three points behind Barcelona heading into the Clasico clash after the international break.
Goals from Ciro Immobile, Ever Banega and Fernando Llorente, sandwiched between strikes from Sergio Ramos and James Rodriguez, gave Sevilla all three points at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

But it was the opening goal from Madrid captain, Ramos, that grabbed all of the headlines. 22 minutes into the game, the Spanish international gave his side the lead with an immaculate bicycle kick from an Isco corner. (watch the goal below)
However, the stunning goal proved to be bittersweet as Ramos injured his shoulder and was forced to leave the field ten minutes later.
Sevilla have been struggling this season and find themselves 10th in La Liga. However, they now boast home wins over Madrid and Barcelona since the start of October.
During this campaign, Los Blancos have been a completely different animal to what we all became accustomed to. Their form has been good but in a number of games they have been lucky to escape with a win.
They surrendered a surprising amount of possession in the 1-0 win over PSG and were it not for the French side's wasteful finishing and the heroics of Keylor Navas, would have lost handsomely.
The Costa Rican stopper has been in incredible form this season; keeping 10 clean sheets in 13 games.
A niggling groin problem kept him out of action against Sevilla and it proved costly as Unai Emery's men scored with all three of their shots on target.
