Former WWE Superstar Kurt Angle has said he doesn't expect Seth Rollins to be rushed back into the WWE ring.
The Olympian is no stranger to injuries while wrestling in the WWE. The Architect may be out with a knee injury for up to nine months now, but Angle broke his neck four times in a two-and-a-half year span while with the company.
When you're the top guy in the company, your absence can be damaging. While Angle was rushed back too quickly from his neck surgery in the past, which contributed towards his departure, he says Rollins won't be rushed back because things have changed in the past ten years.

He said during an interview with 105.7 The Point, via EWrestling News: “No, they will not. The WWE went public about 14 years ago and started really implementing the Wellness Policy around 2006-2007, around the time that I left.
"They won’t even let Seth Rollins step into a ring until he’s 100 percent healthy. They won’t even let him in there to drop the belt. I had a broken neck and I had to drop it to Brock Lesnar in a match at WrestleMania. That was okay back then. Today they wouldn’t do it.”

Everybody remembers that match at WrestleMania 19, not just because Angle wrestled with a broken neck, but because Lesnar failed to connect with the Olympian on a shooting star press close to the end of the bout.
Angle even revealed later in the interview that Vince McMahon didn't even want him to wrestle in that match, but Angle pleaded to do so so that he could drop the title before getting surgery the right way. Back then, something like that would have been acceptable, but a lot was changed in the WWE since, especially after that match.
WWE has a lot of guys that are more than capable of stepping up to the plate for the company, and therefore, the pressure isn't on Rollins to be rushed back for the WWE like Angle was back in the day. Don't expect The Architect back in the ring until he is 100 per cent fit and healthy.
Big names are likely to be called in to help fill the void of Rollins while WWE pushes someone up to the standard of Rollins, and hopefully those names will be announced on Raw tonight.
