WrestleMania 32 may be merely an exciting blip on the horizon of the wrestling calendar but, as always, the hype is already beginning to circulate.
The latest rumours - and yes, they are speculative - state that the main event of the next WrestleMania could be John Cena vs. The Undertaker.
With the injury to Seth Rollins, it might be easier for the WWE to fall back on a pair of legends for the 32nd edition of the blockbuster show, with Randy Orton also out for the forseeable due to his shoulder problem.
Cena and The Undertaker would certainly be a mouth-watering tie - the question is: Is there a younger wrestler more deserved of a chance?
Here's what Twitter thinks:
The Reigns claim
Meanwhile, Rollins’ aforesaid injury may have spared him some blushes, as Roman Reigns was scheduled to beat him at Survivor Series, according to a shock report by Dave Meltzer.
Rollins isn’t expected back until midway through next year, leaving Reigns very much the favourite to become the new Heavyweight World Champion.
Angle on Rollins' return
Lastly, Kurt Angle has had his say on Rollins’ injury and believes that the WWE won’t rush the 29-year-old back to the ring and potentially risk him doing lasting damage to himself.
Angle stated that he thinks the organisation will honour their commitment to the Wellness Policy that seeks to ensure wrestlers are 100% healthy before coming back from serious injuries.
That’s in stark contrast to the old way of doing things, the former Olympian confirmed.
