Cristiano Ronaldo responds to Arsene Wenger's Ballon d'Or comments

Arsene Wenger recently criticised the prestigious Ballon d’Or ceremony, stating that he was against it as it can lead players to turmoil through their desire to win personal awards. Well, the reigning Ballon d’Or king, one Cristiano Ronaldo, has retorted, stating that although he respected Wenger’s opinion, that was as far as it went. The Portuguese superstar has won the coveted trophy three times and is vying for a fourth next year - it’s safe to assume none of Wenger’s pupils will come close to taking it away from him. On the subject of awards - and Arsene Wenger - it’s only fair our second story concerns the Frenchman picking up the Premier League’s Manager of the Month accolade for October. Arsenal enjoyed a perfect run of games against Manchester United, Watford, Everton and Swansea City, allowing them to draw level with Manchester City.
