In all the furore surrounding Jesse Lingard and his rise to prominence at Manchester United, spare a thought for Adnan Januzaj.
The Belgian was shipped out on loan to Borussia Dortmund - despite scoring the winning goal against Aston Villa - to gain more first-team experience.
However, he has struggled to break into Thomas Tuchel's side and the young Red Devil has had to make do with four substitute appearances in the Bundesliga.

Having assisted Wayne Rooney's goal against CSKA Moscow, then opened the scoring against West Brom, Lingard is fast becoming the golden boy at Old Trafford.
However, statistics courtesy of Squawka, show Januzaj can feel somewhat hard done by to be shunted out on a temporary basis.

The 20-year-old only played two games before his move to Germany, but in those matches - where he amassed 125 minutes on the pitch - his stats were marginally better than Lingard's.
Lingard has made four appearances in the league for the Red Devils and has scored one goal - the same as Januzaj - and has only taken two more shots than the Belgian.
The Dortmund loanee dwarfed his English teammate when it came pass completion (89 percent compared to 82), successful take-ons, and, surprisingly, duels won.
Januzaj succeeded in taking on his opponent 60 percent of the time compared to Lingard's lowly 30 while he won 44 percent of his duels compared to 32.
Van Gaal's side have been criticised for their lack of attacking football and in 171 minutes of football Lingard has only passed the ball forward 19 times, compared to Januzaj's 16.
The former Derby County loanee has also created two chances since making his debut.
There is no doubting Lingard has been important to United this season and could go on to enjoy a fruitful career at Old Trafford.
However, with Van Gaal still uncertain about his wide options, it seems ludicrous that Januzaj was allowed out on loan.
Reports have suggested the Belgian could be brought back to Old Trafford, and his statistics show he is more than capable of doing a job for Manchester United.
