Arsenal fans, you’re in luck: Your side is carrying the future of English football, according to Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez. The Spaniard, a long-time admirer of Jack Wilshere, believes the Gunners midfielder does not play the English way, and would be at the top of the European pyramid were it not for his injuries. Unfortunately he’s spent almost as much time having problems fixed as he has wowing supporters on the pitch. In any case though, Xavi is a good advocate to have. Across to team news, and Arsene Wenger has claimed his side have no fear in playing away games in Europe. Arsenal have to beat Olympiacos in Greece, as well as Dinamo Zagreb at home, to stand any chance of qualifying, whilst also relying on Bayern Munich to play a part as well. Wenger is confident, but it doesn’t look good.
