Chelsea fans, hola, bonjour, hallo.
Welcome to today’s round-up, we hope it delivers all you were expecting and more.
One thing we can promise is that you’ll leave this page far more clued up on the latest gossip and news doing the rounds than you were when you arrived. Without further ado, we give to you…
If comments from Carlo Ancelotti are to be believed then there’s little chance he’s heading back to Chelsea anytime soon. If reports in The Sun are to be believed, however, then there’s every chance.
The publication - known to have tipped their toes in the pool of sensationalism in the past - say that Ancelotti has had a sit down meeting with Chelsea representatives this week.
They don’t explicitly say the chat was about replacing Jose Mourinho, but we won’t insult your intelligence by suggesting it was for anything else.
Below are supposed pictures of Ancelotti in west London - as per 101 Great Goals:
Emenalo could be sacked
Moving on, another man who could lose his job at Stamford Bridge is Michael Emenalo - the club’s technical director.
The Nigerian is supposedly heavily involved with transfer business in west London, and that hasn’t gone too well of late.
‘Fighting for his job’ is the phrase the Mirror used when reporting about Mourinho - Emenalo isn’t in a much better position.
Want to know a few of the (dodgy) transfers Emenalo has been involved with? Look no further:
Loftus-Cheek loan possible
Last but not least, Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be departing Chelsea on loan in the near future, despite having featured for Mourinho’s first-team in the past.
The Blues academy graduate hasn’t been afforded much game-time this year and, with Chelsea struggling, it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.
He’s said to be frustrated and so a temporary move is on the cards.
