WWE fans, hello and welcome.

Monday’s are difficult, let’s not try and sugarcoat that age-old fact. Here at GiveMeSport though we believe they can be helped by a little serving of something sweet. It doesn’t come any sweeter than football news.

In a bid to rid yourself of the beginning-of-the-week blues why not watch the video above for the latest gossip and information. Alternatively you can read on below.

Bryan return possible

It’s been quite some time since Daniel Bryan was seen in a wrestling ring, but fans can perhaps get excited about him finally making a return.

Vince McMahon is said to be umming and aahing over bringing Bryan back amidst fears relating to his history of concussion.

The big boss is waiting on the opinions of a third doctor before he lets Bryan complete his comeback, despite the fact that the wrestler himself is keen to get back to the action.

Safe to say that third doctor’s decision could be monumental.

Bockwinkel statement

Elsewhere, the WWE have issued an official statement after the death of Hall of Famer Nick Bockwinkel.

The organisation said Bockwinkel, who passed away aged 80, would be forever enshrined as one of the greats of sports’ entertainment.

Gunn fired

Lastly, the WWE were forced to fire Billy Gunn over the weekend because they were made aware that he had failed a PED test.

Gunn, real name Monty Sopp, had been working as a trainer with the development talent, but tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone during a power lift meeting in July.
