Brad Smith confirms he's signed new contract with Liverpool

Published 1 Comments

Brad Smith isn’t a name exactly synonymous with Liverpool Football Club, but he’s an Anfield player nonetheless. What’s more, it’s likely he’ll be an Anfield player for a good deal of time yet, having confirmed that he’s put pen to paper on a new deal. The 21-year-old made his debut under Brendan Rodgers against Chelsea in 2013, but hasn’t featured for Liverpool’s first-team since. He tweeted confirmation of his new contract, much to the surprise of fans. Meanwhile, it’s good news on the Daniel Sturridge front, with the England international having returned to full training. Sturridge picked up a knee injury just prior to Jurgen Klopp’s appointment, but will boost the squad with his comeback.
