The WWE Universe have already proved that they are a definitive part of the "Cesaro Section" but why are WWE so reluctant to capitalise on his popularity?
Vince McMahon mentioned in an interview a while ago that the problem with Cesaro is that he wasn't connecting with the WWE crowd, but now he is finally invoking a response from the audience, could there be a bigger problem?
There is absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that Cesaro's match with Roman Reigns on Raw this week was one of the best of his career and definitely the match of the night.

Cesaro showed why he is the Swiss Superman, pulling off flips and an amazing aerial uppercut after a unique cartwheel off the top rope but there was one thing that let him down.
Twice during the match the cameraman caught him talking to Reigns about the next move of the match. At one point, Cesaro actually said "Roll with me" to Reigns loud enough for the audience to hear when he had Reigns locked in a crossface.

He was then seen speaking to him in the lead up to the finish of the match. Cesaro has never been pulled up on this before but there is a feeling that this will be another reason to not push him towards that Brass Ring.
There is a thought now that Cesaro could join the Authority in the absence of Seth Rollins, but so could Sheamus if he cashed in his briefcase, so that rumour doesn't currently hold a lot of weight.
The former United States Champion has shown so much in-ring improvement - alongside impressive mic work - but much like Dean Ambrose, WWE have no idea what to do with a talent like his.
Cesaro is a delight to watch, the things he does in the ring can not be duplicated by half of the WWE superstars and there is absolutely no doubt that he is the most deserving of a World Title opportunity than anyone currently on the main roster, but WWE are not willing to allow it.
Cesaro has already proved his pedigree as champion having held the United States title for 239 days back in 2012-2013. WWE need to gamble on the Swiss Superman again and allow him to prove that he is worthy of that World Championship.
