Arsenal believe they have reached an agreement with Alexis Sanchez over a bumper new contract that will see him become the club's highest ever earner. The Chile international has emerged as one of the Premier League's most exciting players since arriving from Barcelona in 2013 and Arsene Wenger is keen to make sure the future of his biggest talent is secured. Discussions between Arsenal officials and Sanchez have been ongoing with a five-year deal worth £155,000-a-week said to have been agreed in principle. Meanwhile, reports in Germany have claimed Arsenal will be able to buy Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £42million. The 26-year-old has been in red-hot form this season, scoring 22 goals in 20 games and has long been linked with a move to the Emirates. However, interest from Barcelona is likely to make signing Aubameyang anything but simple.
