Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial out of Watford clash

Published 5 Comments

Manchester United face an attacking crisis ahead of their game with Watford on Saturday as Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial have been ruled out of the trip to Vicarage Road. Martial injured his foot during France's friendly with England and was seen leaving Wembley on crutches, while Rooney is suffering from an unspecified illness. With James Wilson also unable to complete 90 minutes, Louis van Gaal has serious selection dilemma on his hands. In other news, United will have to fork out as much as £45 million if they want to land Everton defender John Stones. Roberto Martinez has insisted the centre-back is not for sale in January, and the Manchester Evening news reports the Red Devils are eyeing up a summer move for the England international.
