Cristiano Ronaldo will retire at Real Madrid - Jorge Mendes

Published Add your comment

He may have been jeered during Real Madrid’s 4-0 thumping at the hands of Barcelona, but Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be leaving Spain anytime soon. That’s the latest from his agent, Jorge Mendes, who described Ronaldo departing Real as ‘impossible’, despite there having been interest supposedly registered from both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. He hasn’t been at his best this term, but the consensus is that he’s still good enough for Los Blancos. Meanwhile, former United assistant Rene Meulensteen has compared Jesse Lingard to Andres Iniesta. As hyperbolic as it may seem, Muelensteen said Lingard could be the English version of the World Cup winning Spaniard. We’ll see about that one.
