Brad Maddox has been released from the WWE after appearing to slander the crowd at the SmackDown taping earlier this week.
Reports all concur that Maddox has indeed been let go by the organisation though the reason remains yet unconfirmed.
It’s rumoured that the 31-year-old’s decision to say ‘cocky pricks’ during a pre-match promo on Tuesday has cost him dearly, with chiefs of the organisation not happy with his terminology.

Orton injury woes continue
In injury news, Randy Orton could be missing for as long as a year, according to new reports providing an update on his struggles.
It’s believed Orton might now require neck fusion surgery - don’t worry, that might not be half as dangerous as it sounds - which, along with his shoulder op, could leave him out for another 12 months.

La Sombra set for the big time?
To finish, we’ve got something of a curveball. It focuses on the man who the WWE could be grooming as their next top star, despite the fact many of you might not have heard of him.
Enter, La Sombra - real name Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza - who is apparently turning heads at the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando.
The 26-year-old is being tipped by several sources to be the company’s next top latino star. Vince McMahon will certainly be hoping his introduction can boost the ailing ratings. Watch this space.
