Is WWE trying to push Nia Jax too fast?

This week's episode of NXT saw Eva Marie fail in her bid to lift the NXT Women's Championship for the first time, as she was defeated by Bayley.

Following the match, Nia Jax attacked Bayley before dropping several leg drops onto the Champion, one whilst holding the title signalling that she wants it after just a few weeks on the roster.

Nia received a lot of criticism on Twitter following her long-awaited NXT debut on the October 14th episode of NXT.

Her first match proved that she was there to dominate and over the past six weeks Nia has been in squash matches to build her into even more of a dominating presence.

Last week she defeated Carmella in one of her better matches, but the NXT Universe are finding it hard to get behind the newest edition to the roster because she doesn't look or act like a typical diva.

Nia has a decent character, but what makes her different from Kharma or Beth Phoenix who have already played on the destructive female character? Why is she being pushed towards the NXT Women's title when many other women have waited for the shot and she has only just arrived?

Bayley is definitely a fighting champion having defeated Sasha Banks at the last NXT live event back in October followed by a Women's title match against Alexa Bliss last week and Eva Marie this week.

Bayley now looks set to face Nia Jax at NXT Takeover England in just under two weeks time, but does Bayley have what it takes to defeat her biggest challenge to date?

With Eva Marie on Nia's side it's hard to see how Bayley can still walk out of London as Champion, it's great that WWE has found something for Eva Marie to do since her in-ring career wasn't going as planned.

Nia and Eva could be a great partnership if WWE books it correctly, but it doesn't mean that Nia is ready for a title run. The only reason WWE would drop the title to Nia is if Bayley was main roster bound and since there doesn't look like there is a place for her to fit in. This is highly unlikely.

Hopefully, Nia and Bayley have a lengthy feud before the title changes hands, this will give the NXT Women's title the prestige it deserves after the hard fought matches that have been contested for it.
