Arsenal fans, happy Friday!
The end of the week cometh and in true GMS fashion we’re celebrating in the only way we know how. That’s right, by feeding you the biggest news steadily making its way down the grapevine.
If you’re not laughing at the fact we have nothing better to do then either watch the video above or tackle the text below. It should be to your liking, let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.
Keane on Flamini
Roy Keane’s never been one to mince his words with regards to analysis on current players, but all the same it’s never easy for fans to sit back and hear that one individual or another isn’t good enough in his opinion.
It’s the turn of Arsenal this time, with Keane having said that he doesn’t rate midfielder Mathieu Flamini - the man who is likely to be charged with filling the void left by Francis Coquelin.
Keane said he particularly didn’t like Flamini when the Gunners play away from home - got an opinion on that? Let us know.
“Not for me. I don’t fancy him,” Keane told ITV Sport.
“He is probably alright at home. At home, he isn’t bad. Nice and comfortable. Away from home, different game.”
Sanchez injury update
Meanwhile, Arsenal are confident that Alexis Sanchez could be fit and ready to face Norwich City this weekend despite his hamstring problem, according to the Daily Mail.
The Chilean had handed Arsene Wenger an injury scare, but it’s looking likely he will feature at Carrow Road. Crisis averted, we’re sure you’ll agree.
Mourinho on Arsenal's Champions League
Last, but not least, Jose Mourinho - surprise, surprise - has admitted that he hopes Arsenal are knocked out of the Champions League this year in favour of Olympiacos and Bayern Munich going through.
Wenger’s men gave themselves a lifeline when they overcame Dinamo Zagreb this week, but they’ll still have to be at their very best if they are to secure qualification.
