The final pay-per-view of 2015 takes place on December 13 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts as Sheamus defends his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at TLC.
Opinions were mixed on the Survivor Series event which saw Roman Reigns defeat Dean Ambrose in the final of the tournament, but his celebration was cut short when Sheamus successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
That, along with lackluster and rushed matches made Survivor Series feel like an ordinary event and nowhere near the standard we saw last year. However, attention now turns to TLC where two championship matches have been confirmed for the event, and more are expected to be added in the coming weeks.

The first match confirmed for the night is a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, where Sheamus defends it against the former champion Roman Reigns.
With Reigns being the poster-boy for the event, it will be interesting to see whether they hand over the championship to him right now, although it does remain doubtful that Reigns will become champion so soon.

The second confirmed match will see Kevin Owens defend his Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose. At the minute, there’s no stipulation added to the match but with these two you can be sure it will be a brutal match.
I would say another TLC match is probably out of the equation whereas a ladder match would definitely suit the duo.
THE NEW DAY © VS. THE USOS VS. THE LUCHA DRAGONS
A three-way tag team match for the Tag Team Championships looks like a likely match to take place at the TLC event, as the three teams have been involved in segments already.
It’s good to see The Lucha Dragons being thrown into the limelight a little bit more and they’ve even received time on the microphone which is a huge step in the right direction for them. The Usos are also important additions to this as they add more excitement which certain groups don’t.
It will be a surprise to see one of the teams excluded from this match as the New Day will definitely be at their best with two teams going up against them rather than one.
THE DUDLEY BOYZ VS. THE WYATT FAMILY
This also looks like a match which will make the event, but it isn’t exactly something the fans would expect to see from The Wyatt Family.
If there was an actual feud where there was a story told then perhaps it would be a different story, but there’s a chance the in-ring performance could overshadow the fact that neither team is relevant right now.
A table’s match would obviously be the fitting choice considering it’s something Bubba Ray and D-Von are famous for, and it could be a great scrap between the men involved in the potential bout.
CHARLOTTE © VS. PAIGE
Charlotte will obviously be defending her Diva’s Championship at TLC but the way I see it there are only two clear-cut choices to go with.
Whether she deserves another chance or not Paige is definitely in with another shout because she’s such a strong heel which helps Charlotte go over as a face. The other would be Sasha Banks which would make for a really good wrestling match considering the two have put on great performances at NXT.
I just think although Sasha deserves an opportunity, this feud between Paige and Charlotte hasn’t exactly ended yet and we could be in store for something more memorable before this feud does eventually come to a close.
ALBERTO DEL RIO © VS. JACK SWAGGER
Much like the Diva’s match I feel like if Alberto Del Rio is to defend his United States Championship then this match could go one of two ways.
The first is the obvious in Jack Swagger as their feud is now escalating a little bit and the two do have some unique chemistry, even more so when you throw Zeb Colter into the mix.
On the other hand, the event is in Massachusetts which means a John Cena return could also take place whether he actually competes or just appears is another story. Cena does seem like a good future opponent, though, as Del Rio should look strong against Swagger.
This would allow the whole ‘MexAmerica’ deal to get bigger only for Cena to return and take it down.
