We are fast approaching the end of the NFL regular season, and one team still remains undefeated and above the rest, the Carolina Panthers.
They've gone 11-0 so far this year, and actually haven't lost a single game in the past calendar year in the regular season. It's certainly something which Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis is proud of, but the fact some people are saying they're the worst 11-0 team in history is frustrating him.
According to Tyler Dragon of NFL.com, the 32-year-old reflected on the achievement his NFC South team have managed so far this season alongside the negative comments made about it, and said: "I was just on the way in this morning and I was reading something that said we were the worst 11-0 team in the history of 11-0 teams.

"Who knows? Maybe they need a story, maybe they need something to talk about other than how well we've been playing. They'd rather talk about what we can't do and what we shouldn't be able to do at this point and how bad we are.
"It's something that's extremely tough to do in this league. You have so many good football teams in the NFL ... each week there's so many different teams trying to knock you off, and for us to be in this position right now is truly special and you enjoy every minute of it."
The challenge is now set for Davis and the Panthers, can they remain undefeated?
Looking ahead at their schedule, it would be hard to say that they can't. Before the season is over, they have to play against their divisional rivals, the Atlanta Falcons, home and away. They also have a home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and away games against the New Orleans Saints and the New York Giants.
Every single one of these games is winnable because none of the teams have managed to stay consistent over the course of the season. The Falcons have only managed to win one game in their last six, and the rest have losing records this year.
The only thing that will stop the Panthers is injuries, but they have shown they can prevail despite the odds in that sector.
Their number one wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin has been out since the start of the season and several other players including Jared Allen and Luke Kuechly have been out throughout the year, but the team has managed to cope and persevere.
Face it people, the Panthers are either going to or stay pretty close to undefeated for the rest of the regular season. And if they stay undefeated and win the Super Bowl, something which has only been done once before in NFL history, we might all start reacting the same way the Spanish commentators did when Kuechly scored a pick-six against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
