Chelsea fans bemoan losses
When Jose Mourinho made the decision to let Kevin De Bruyne leave Chelsea in 2013, and then Romelu Lukaku in 2014, he was always sailing close to the wind.
Many Blues fans expressed concerns over the respective calls, and it would appear that fate has returned to bite Mourinho in the backside.
De Bruyne, now playing for Man City, has had a hand in a total of 17 goals this year across all competitions, scoring nine and assisting eight.
Lukaku meanwhile has scored 13 and set up four, bringing him to the same tally. Chelsea fans aren’t that impressed, as you can see from the tweets.
Merson on Mourinho mistake
Meanwhile, the eternally-wise Paul Merson believes Mourinho made another mistake - this one dropping Diego Costa for the Spurs game.
Mers said the Special One needs Costa more than Costa needs the Special One. We’re not sure that statement is definitively true, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Hazard amongst most wasteful
To finish up, here’s a stat that virtually no Blues fan will find easy to digest: Eden Hazard is amongst the most wasteful Premier League stars this season.
As per the London Evening Standard, the Belgium international is among the top five Premier League players to have taken the most shots without actually registering a goal. Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla is also near the top.
