Gronk claims foul play
It’s true that Rob Gronkowski has been on the wrong end of a lot of calls so far this season, but is he being targeted by NFL officials?
He certainly thinks so, having tweeted to agree with the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe, who claimed that the 26-year-old is being treated unfairly.
So far this term Gronk has been called for five offensive interference penalties - that’s more than in his five previous seasons combined.

Hasselbeck's recovery technique
Meanwhile, Matt Hasselbeck has an unorthodox method of ensuring he recovers after a game, one that doesn’t include taking an ice bath.
According to ESPN’s Mike Wells, Hasselbeck instead wears compression socks. Judging from the way he’s been performing of late - and at 40-years-of-age - it’s fair to assume he’s made the right call.
Bryant's homecoming ruined
Across to the NBA, and Kobe Bryant’s first homecoming game since his retirement announcement ended in defeat for the LA Lakers.
The Philadelphia 76ers were the party spoilers, claiming their first win of the season 103-91 to deny Bryant the victory he probably deserved.
LeBron on Kobe
Lastly, LeBron James has had his say on Bryant’s retirement, admitting that he wanted to be just like the future Hall of Famer.
King James, a legend of the sport in his own right, spoke incredibly highly of his long-time rival, suggesting that there would never be another player like him in the NBA.
