Gilberto Silva told Arsene Wenger he was 'ready' after Coquelin injury

Published 1 Comments

Arsenal may be without Francis Coquelin, but a former Gunners hero has told Arsene Wenger he will step in to save the day. Fancy a bit of Gilberto Silva? Well, the Brazilian has revealed he told Wenger he was ready. Obviously a joke, but on a more serious note, Gilberto claimed that Arsenal had failed to properly replace him… until Coquelin’s emergence. In any case the Frenchman is injured for the time being, meaning someone is going to have to fill the void. One man who won’t, or, more aptly, can’t, is Santi Cazorla. The Spaniard is set to be on the sidelines for three months with an injury, it was reported yesterday. That one could have serious ramifications.
