It has been two-and-a-half weeks now since Holly Holm stunned the fighting world with her KO victory over Ronda Rousey.
And, just as the fallout from the fight is finally beginning to die down, UFC president Dana White has set tongues wagging again by offering the tantalizing confirmation every fan has been hoping for.
Speaking on ESPN's Mike and Mike show this afternoon, White definitively confirmed that Rousey will be afforded a rematch against Holm.

"I think that if we didn't make the rematch, me and [UFC CEO] Lorenzo [Fertitta] should lose our promoters' license," White said, via CBS Sports.
"Yeah, that fight's going to happen. I don't know when, but that's the fight that will happen."
With Rousey currently taking time away from the UFC, and with her Hollywood career taking off, there had been some speculation that her shock defeat to Holm - her first loss in 13 UFC bouts - would be her last involvement in the sport.
That won't be the case if Dana White and the UFC have anything to do with it, it seems.
Just when a Holm vs Rousey rematch would take place could pose some problems, however.
The UFC, wanting to capitalize on the intrigue surrounding the two fighters, will likely want to get both of them in the Octagon as soon as possible. A quick turnaround would also ensure that Holm was still a title holder when she next faces Rousey.
Rousey, though, is about to begin filming the movie 'Road House' in the near future, so won't be trying to win back the title anytime soon.
Still, at least we now have confirmation from the UFC's top man that a Holm vs Rousey rematch is a top priority.
