It has been made fairly obvious in recent weeks that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan may not be returning to WWE, so could the organization be looking for his replacement?
Bryan has been making some progress on the jujitsu scene and it looks like, if WWE once again fail to clear the popular superstar to return, he may have a new career to fall back on.
WOULD NEVILLE BE AN APPROPRIATE REPLACEMENT?
This past week on Smackdown, The Miz told Neville that he reminded him of Bryan when he first debuted in WWE, before he was aligned with The Miz.

Miz then offered his advice to Neville before handing him a DVD of Santa's Little Helper and leaving the WWE Universe with the idea that he and Neville could be partnered up.
There is no denying that Neville is one of the best talents to walk into WWE over the past year - arriving after a successful stint on NXT which saw him lift the NXT Championship. He is still currently the longest reigning NXT Champion in the brand's short history.

Since his jump to the main roster, Neville hasn't been used as effectively as he was in his time at Full Sail, which has meant that the WWE Universe haven't been shown his full potential - even though there have been slight glimpses.
Neville was close to winning the King of the Ring tournament earlier this year, before he was defeated by eventual winner King Barrett. This lead to an impressive rivalry between the two British Superstars before Neville was once again put back on the shelf.
COULD MIZ HELP NEVILLE'S CAREER?
It is slightly ironic that Miz is handing out advice to WWE Superstars when this is currently the least relevant he has been to WWE in his entire career.
Miz is only being used on WWE TV now to promote his latest film, so could he really help Neville become more popular, develop a personality and follow in the footsteps of Daniel Bryan?
There is no reason why he can't. The Miz seemed to help Daniel Bryan when he first came into NXT and he in turn helped The Awesome superstar with his in-ring technique.
Neville certainly doesn't need to improve in the ring and he does already look like a confident superstar on the mic, but for unknown reasons WWE once again have no idea what to do with Neville, so a change might be the right thing for his character at this point.
