And it gets worse. The Guardian today claim that a midweek Champions League defeat to FC Porto might spell the end to Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, but he does still have the backing of the board for the time being.
In a roundabout kind of way it would be fitting for his former club to ruin his spell at Chelsea - fans obviously don’t want that.

And to finish, Thibaut Courtois has opened up on the Blues’ woeful first-half of the season and believes most of it can simply be put down to ‘bad luck’.
