Craig Bellamy made his Monday Night Football debut last night, stepping in for the departed Gary Neville, and was trolled by Jamie Carragher inside the opening minutes of his first appearance on the Sky Sports show.
Carragher, who shared plenty of banter with Neville during their time working together on MNF, welcomed Bellamy in typical Carragher fashion.

Presenter Ed Chamberlain welcomed Bellamy to the show before Carragher chimed in with the classic line: “The only man we could find who’s more unpopular than Gary Neville”.
Carragher gave Bellamy a friendly slap on the back and it probably helped his former Liverpool teammate overcome any pre-show nerves he might have had.
Bellamy got his revenge on Carragher
Bellamy performed reasonably well in his role as guest presenter and got his own back on Carragher during the final stages of the show.
When talking about Martin Skrtel’s own goal at the weekend - referring to Carragher’s unenviable record of own goals scored for Liverpool - Bellamy quipped: “The only goal against Liverpool that you’ve celebrated!”
And when asked by Chamberlain if he had enjoyed his first MNF experience, Bellamy responded: “After spending the day with him [Carragher] I can see why Gary Neville went to Valencia”.
Frank Lampard's up next...
Frank Lampard is the guest presenter on MNF next week - and it’s safe to assume the former England international will also receive the Carragher treatment before Leicester City take on Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.
