Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland has admitted that it's 'wonderful' to be linked with a club like Liverpool but has insisted that he's happy at the Britannia Stadium.
As reported by The Sun, the shot-stopper, who has been in fine form throughout the course of the season, has played down rumours that he could be on the move in the near future.
With Simon Mignolet failing to hit top form on Merseyside, Liverpool have been credited with interest in Butland recently.

The England international has been one of the most consistent performers in the division between the sticks, so it's not entirely surprising that he has attracted a great deal of attention ahead of the January transfer window.
Butland, despite acknowledging Liverpool's interest, has insisted that he's happy at Stoke. The 'keeper stated: “It’s obviously wonderful to be linked with a club with history like Liverpool but this is where I am.
“I’m in a brilliant, brilliant squad who are playing extremely well and things are looking really bright for the club.
“Right now I can’t see any better place for me to be. I’m learning every week, I’m playing with some great players and learning a lot from the staff as well.”
Mignolet vs Butland
It certainly appears that Butland is comfortable where he is, but that may not stop the Liverpool hierarchy swooping for him. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has given his backing to Mignolet recently, but things change quickly in football.
Mignolet has to start producing the goods on a consistent basis or Klopp really will have to act in the transfer window.
But, should Liverpool swoop for Butland? Well, the Stoke City man has more Premier League clean sheets and has conceded less goals than Mignolet this season. In fact, Butland has also made more than double the saves of the Liverpool No.1, so the statistics certainly favour the Englishman.
