Germany coach Joachim Low expects defender Robert Huth to blossom now following his move to Middlesbrough from Chelsea.

Huth is about to return from a nagging ankle injury which has kept him out of action at the start of this season. He swapped Barclays Premiership sides just hours before the transfer window closed, and Low is predicting a golden future for the centre-back.

"I hope the regular playing time will give him another boost in performance," the Germany boss told PA Sport at the FIFA World Cup Symposium in Berlin. "You have to see how the next weeks in England will go. I think in the long-term picture, it is very important for him to get regular first-team action."
