Manchester United supporters, hello and welcome.
The weekend is within touching distance - a fact that should be universally celebrated - and that means that there’s added emphasis placed on the rumours and breaking news involving football.
Here we’ve collated a series of the best bits doing the rounds. Watch the report above or read on below for more.
Resentment in United dressing room
Manchester United fans, by and large, weren’t happy with Louis van Gaal’s decision to take off Juan Mata in the second half of the Champions League loss to Wolfsburg earlier this week.
Well, it appears the Spaniard’s teammates were in a similar boat, with a report in The Times (subscription needed) suggesting that the squad reacted with bemusement following Van Gaal’s call.
The same article says the United boss is facing growing resentment in the dressing room because of his tactics.
Let us know what you think of them in the box provided.
Beckenbauer on Guardiola to United
Now, Bayern Munich ambassador Franz Beckenbauer has hinted that United might be the best option for Pep Guardiola if he leaves his Allianz Arena post.
The German said he hoped Guardiola would commit to more years with Bayern, but described United as being perhaps the most popular club in the world. You lot should certainly have an opinion on that one.
Neville's defeat on debut
Lastly, Gary Neville may have achieved a personal ambition by leaving the studio for a managerial hot seat, via Valencia, but his reign at the Mestalla hasn’t started as he would have wished.
The United hero’s first game in charge of the La Liga outfit ended in a 2-0 Champions League defeat to Lyon - one that saw them crash out of the competition at the group stage.
Onwards and upwards, we suppose.
