Oakland Raiders sign Michael Crabtree to four-year, $35m contract extension

Published Add your comment

The Oakland Raiders have signed wide receiver Michael Crabtree to a four-year contract extension worth $35million, the franchise have confirmed. The Raiders themselves tweeted a picture of Crabtree sitting behind what looks to be a contract, with the caption ‘This is where I belong’. The 28-year-old joined Oakland after a disappointing 2014 with San Francisco - it’s safe to say he won’t be utilising the free-agent market again next offseason. In the NBA, meanwhile, Al Jefferson has been suspended for five games by the league after violating the anti-drug program. The forward will begin serving the ban when he returns to full fitness, with the Charlotte Hornets declaring themselves disappointed with his decisions.
