Arsenal fans, hello and welcome to the last round-up of the week.
There’s been ups and downs but the show rolls on as we tip-toe closer to the end of the year. As usual, we’ve amassed a series of news pieces and rumours for your entertainment.
Watch the video above or read on below for all the very latest.
Wenger opens up on transfer rumours
Only earlier this week did Robert Pires suggest that Arsenal sign Southampton star Victor Wanyama and it appears that Arsene Wenger has taken the comments on board.
No, it doesn’t mean he’s going all out to land the Kenyan, but Wenger has at least reacted to the transfer talk.
The Frenchman said that he too rated Wanyama, but that Arsenal weren’t making moves to take him to north London anytime soon.
"I rate the player but we are not on the case," he said.
"We will be out there and see what we can do. But at the moment we have the whole of December to go and we are in a good position in the Premier League."
He also said he wouldn’t consider Karim Benzema because Olivier Giroud is a great striker.
"We just said that Olivier Giroud is a great striker, so behind that we cannot buy Karim Benzema," he continued.
Welbeck enduring a difficult spell
Meanwhile, Danny Welbeck has admitted - as per Sky Sports - he’s desperate to return after enduring a ‘difficult’ spell on the sidelines.
The England international isn’t back until the New Year having undergone surgery on his knee - he said he was hoping to be ‘flying’ upon his return.
Parlour hails Wanyama
Lastly, Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has had his say on the transfer speculation surrounding the afore-touched-upon Wanyama.
The ‘Romford Pele’ hailed the Southampton man’s efficiency and strength, likening him to former north London great Patrick Vieira.
That’s a big call, but if there’s anymore more like the legendary Frenchman in the Premier League, we’ve yet to see him.
