Another game, another goal for Lionel Messi. The Argentine magician, who may well reclaim the Ballon d'Or award in January of next year, has once again produced the goods for Barcelona today. 

With his side struggling to break down a determined Deportivo back-line, Messi was handed the opportunity to open the scoring from a dead ball situation. You can probably guess what he did. 

Striking the ball with his left-foot, the world-class forward curled it over the wall and into the top right-hand corner of the goal.

The sublime strike, which can be seen in the video below, has handed Luis Enrique's side the lead against their La Liga counterparts. 

With the game still ongoing, Messi will no doubt be hoping to add another couple to his tally before the final whistle.
