Ben Roethlisberger led a 45-10 blow-out of the Colts last weekend.

Pittsburgh Steelers in must-win mode vs Bengals with playoffs in sight

The Pittsburgh Steelers currently sit just outside of the playoffs with a 7-5 record, in order to claw their way into a wildcard spot, they must avoid losses at all costs.

That being said, they have a very tough challenge ahead of them, the division leading 10-2 Cincinnati Bengals.

The Steelers face the Bengals for the second time this year, their first matchup - in Heinz Field - was a very close 16-10 loss.

The Steelers are now hoping to go into Cincinnati's Paul Brown stadium and snatch a victory in order to aid their return to the playoffs.

"It's crunch time," Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told reporters on Wednesday, "After the bye week we said this is the stretch where we have to turn it on and play our best football."

All of the above is true, with only four weeks remaining in the regular season, every game is a must-win at this point, in order to solidify an 11-5 record that would most certainly give them a wildcard spot in the playoffs. Anything less than 11-5 would get them into tiebreaking situations that make things awkward.

So the question now is who will win this Sunday? Me being a Steelers fan, I am hopeful the Steelers, along with their explosive offense that has scored over 30-points in all of their last four games, can go into Cincinnati and win a high-scoring bout.

My predicted score would be something along the lines of 34-30.

With the AFC wildcard race being as close as ever, and wins in the AFC conference being ever so valuable, this game is, if you have not guessed yet, a must win for the Steelers.

Beating the Bengals on Sunday will not only be an act of revenge for the loss earlier in the year, but it will also propel the Steelers with some momentum for their final three games against Denver, Baltimore, and Cleveland.
