Besiktas want to sign Arsenal's David Ospina, vice-president confirms

Published 1 Comments

Given the form of Petr Cech it’s no wonder that David Ospina has spent this season warming the substitutes’ bench - well, he’s now starting to attract interest from overseas. You may remember that there were Turkish clubs hot on his heels during the summer transfer window and Besiktas have confirmed they are back in the hunt. The club’s vice-president has revealed that the Istanbul outfit are interested in Ospina, but insisted that didn’t mean he would definitely move there. Moving on, Theo Walcott has celebrated his partnership with Olivier Giroud, claiming that he’s delighted to play alongside him. Walcott said Giroud’s general play and ‘everything about him’ made him an incredible asset to the team. On current showing it’s hard to disagree.
