Given the form of Petr Cech, it’s no wonder that David Ospina has spent this season warming the substitutes’ bench - well, he’s now starting to attract interest from overseas.
You may remember that there were Turkish clubs hot on his heels during the summer transfer window and Besiktas have confirmed they are back in the hunt.
The club’s vice-president, Ahmet Nur Cebi, has revealed that the Istanbul outfit are interested in Ospina but insisted that didn’t mean he would definitely move there.
“We are interested in Ospina and goalkeepers of his calibre but just because we want him does not mean he will come," Cebi said.
“We have to agree with his club and take his contract into consideration.”
Walcott on Giroud partnership
Moving on, Theo Walcott has celebrated his partnership with Olivier Giroud, claiming that he’s delighted to play alongside him.
Walcott said Giroud’s general play and ‘everything about him’ made him an incredible asset to the team. On current showing, it’s hard to disagree.

Champions League draw
Lastly, Arsenal fans are bemoaning their luck having been drawn against Barcelona in the first knockout stage of the Champions League.
The Gunners managed to salvage their European adventure when they beat Olympiacos earlier this week, but to draw the competition holders - who are in very fine form once more this season - is an irrefutable blow.
