WWE round-up: Roman Reigns fails to win Heavyweight World Title at TLC pay-per-view

Published Add your comment

With this weekend’s TLC pay-per-view out of the way WWE fans have been given plenty to mull over, not least the fact that Sheamus remains Heavyweight World Champion. Roman Reigns was unable to take the belt from the Irishman - largely thanks to some involvement from League of Nations - and there was plenty of other talking points as well. For one, Kevin Owens lost his Intercontinental title to Dean Ambrose, whilst the New Day retained their Tag Team Championship. Of course, there was some solace for Reigns to be found in his brutal beatdown of The Authority’s Triple H. The company’s COO took to the ring only to be taken out by Reigns, who hit him with a spear, superman punch and a powerbomb onto the announcer’s table. Fans were left chanting ‘Thank You Roman’.
