Roman Abramovich could replace Jose Mourinho as Chelsea boss with Juande Ramos, according to The Times.
The shock report claims that Ramos is being considered as a potential caretaker manager at Stamford Bridge.
With Mourinho's future very much in the balance, it appears that the club's hierarchy are set to make a decision whether to sack him later today.

Chelsea, who secured the Premier League title last season, have endured a disastrous campaign, currently sitting in 16th place in the division. In fact, the Blues sit 20 points behind league leaders Leicester City and are just one point above the relegation zone.
With just 15 points from 16 games, the Blues have all but surrendered their Premier League crown. They have 20 points to make up on the league leaders while they're just one point above the relegation zone.
Big decision ahead
It appears, then, that while Abramovich is reluctant to sack the Portuguese tactician, he may well be left with no choice as he goes in search of saving the season.
The potential hiring of Ramos, though, will no doubt split opinion in west London. Since leaving Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in 2014, the 61-year-old has been without a club, but it appears that he could be ready to step into the hot seat at Stamford Bridge.
Ramos has history in the Premier League, of course; the Spaniard previously managed Tottenham but failed to produce the goods during the 2007/08 campaign and was dismissed after leading the club to their worst ever start to a league campaign.
It appears that Ramos is by no means the long-term solution for the Chelsea hierarchy, but he could yet fill the potential void left by Mourinho over the coming months.
