Vince McMahon made his return to WWE TV last night for the first time in over a year and it seems he is set to start a rivalry with Roman Reigns.
Reigns once again defied the odds and retained his job after he managed to defeat Sheamus despite other members of The League of Nations and Vince McMahon's interference and he is now the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Vince's return was one that was very well received after over a year of The Authority's reign of terror, but it was expected for Vince to return as a face, so the coming weeks are somewhat confusing.

This looked to have been set up as a re-run of the Daniel Bryan storyline with Vince McMahon as the protagonist and Triple H as the antagonist, but instead, it seems all of The Authority are now on the same page, thanks to a well delivered Superman punch from the new World Champion.

Shane once turned on his father before when he brought WCW without telling him, so Shane is far from being a trustworthy family member, but who in The McMahon brood is?
WOULD SHANE MAKE A RETURN?
With the ratings currently as low as they are, WWE is looking to make a few changes and have already brought back The Dudley Boys and Tommy Dreamer.
Shane hasn't had anything to do with the company for more than five years and so whilst it would be a shock for him to return, it would also be a huge hit with the WWE Universe.
Shane left in 2010 to go and explore other business ventures and after he stepped down as chairman of YOU on demand in 2013, it seems as though he has dropped off the map.
Whilst there were rumors of a WWE return at this year's Royal Rumble, they never came to fruition and the WWE Universe still await the prodigal sons re-debut.
Shane could be the difference here and he could allow this story line to have a better ending that the Daniel Bryan one did.
COULD SHANE BE THE DIFFERENCE MAKER? COULD VINCE CONVINCE HIM TO RETURN? HAVE YOUR SAY IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW...
