When The Shield first burst onto the scene in WWE, fans of the business were witness to what were to be three of the company's biggest stars.
This has remained the case throughout 2015, as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have all made a name for themselves as talented WWE Superstars.
While it may have taken more time for WWE's creative team, as well as the WWE Universe, to get behind certain ex-members of The Shield than others, they have all made their mark on the main roster.

Seth Rollins has arguably been one of WWE's biggest stars throughout 2015, emerging as the company's top heel for a variety of reasons.
Having kicked off the year by being part of the best match of 2015 in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title triple threat match against John Cena and Brock Lesnar, Rollins showcased his talent in the bout in the most memorable of ways.

Although he eventually lost to Lesnar, Rollins continued to sell himself well throughout the year, as he stunned everyone within the WWE Universe on the Grandest Stage Of Them All, WrestleMania 31.
Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank Briefcase to overcome Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar during their WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title match, in what can easily be classed as the biggest shock in WWE for 2015.
Fans of WWE will be hoping that Rollins' unfortunate injury during WWE's UK tour which forced him to vacate the WWE World Title will be healing quickly, as he will certainly make an incredible comeback sometime next year.
As for Roman Reigns, he has had a turbulent time during this year, with the cheesy, goofy gimmick WWE lumbered him with somewhat wasting what could have been months of worthwhile talent.
Following TLC however, followers of WWE welcomed a long-awaited character change, which saw Reigns as unable to take any more of the criticism he had suffered with for so long.
Victory over Sheamus the following evening on Monday Night Raw meant that a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion was found in Reigns, which, in Rollins' absence, will certainly mean more exciting and positive things to come for the 30-year-old.
The final previous member of The Shield, Dean Ambrose, has succeeded throughout 2015 in promoting his usual, unique-yet-interesting style both in and out of the ring.
Possibly the most memorable match involving the Lunatic Fringe during 2015 was the impressive display he put on at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event in a WWE World Title match against his former teammate, Rollins.
Also, as Dean Ambrose currently holds the Intercontinental Championship Title belt, it is likely that WWE still has a lot to offer for the future with regard to these three men and the most coveted titles currently available under WWE.
