Chelsea fans could sensationally turn against their own players on Saturday as the Blues prepare to play host to Sunderland.
As reported by the London Evening Standard, Darren Mantle, who is a representative from the website CFCNET, has insisted that the club would have been better off keeping Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, claiming that three players could feel the full force of the crowd on Saturday.
He's admitted that the atmosphere will be tense and has suggested that fans could turn on Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas.

After playing prominent roles during the club's title triumph last term, the trio have all underperformed throughout the course of this season. It appears, then, that the Chelsea support could make their feelings extremely clear tomorrow afternoon.
Mantle stated: "We would have been better off keeping Mourinho and getting rid of the technical director Michael Emenalo.
Fans could turn
"Mourinho's name will be sung throughout as a tribute. He is the best we have ever had and was still the man to turn things around.
"The atmosphere will be tense tomorrow and people may turn on Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas, who have all been below their best this season.
"These are worrying times and I fear we won't win the title for at least another five years after this decision."
They deserve the criticism
For one reason or another, the aforementioned trio really have been a shadow of their former selves. Their dip in form is seriously alarming and it will be up to the next Chelsea manager to find a solution.
Perhaps they had just had enough of playing for Mourinho. We will found out soon enough, of course, but the entire situation is bizarre. You certainly wouldn't blame the Chelsea faithful for taking their anger out on the players.
Should Chelsea fans boo the likes of Hazard and Fabregas tomorrow?
