The Usos were the favorites to dethrone The New Day heading into TLC last week, with The Lucha Dragons seemingly just making up the numbers, but the fall out since TLC seems to suggest otherwise.
A NEW DIRECTION FOR THE NEW DAY?
There is no doubt in anyone's mind that The New Day are one of the biggest things in WWE right now. They have gone from being given a very basic gimmick to turning into the most exciting team in WWE currently.
Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E have thrived under this gimmick and it is right that WWE have left the Tag Team Championships on them as long as they have. The problem is, they don't want to allow them to become stale.
The New Day have been the ones running with the championships for a few months now and maybe now it's time that WWE sees how they react to losing them and having to chase them back.
The Lucha Dragons have had some positive feedback since their promotion from NXT a few months ago and this will only prove to further boost their fan base, if they finally manage to be the ones to dethrone The New Day.
