Adam Bogdan endured a personal nightmare on his Premier League debut for Liverpool away to Watford on Sunday afternoon.
The Hungary international dropped a clanger for Watford’s opening goal - the first of three he would concede at Vicarage Road - and continued to look nervy as Jurgen Klopp’s side slumped to arguably their worst defeat of the season so far.
But was Bogdan jinxed by the guys in charge of Liverpool’s Snapchat account? Scroll down to see what was posted about the 28-year-old goalkeeper prior to his embarrassing afternoon in Hertfordshire.

Liverpool posted a Snapchat of Bogdan in the warm-up alongside the caption “Safe hands” and a pair of emoji hands to emphasise the point.
Bogdan, however, proved he had anything but safe hands against Watford when he allowed Nathan Ake to score the game’s opening goal following a costly fumble inside the six-yard box.
Liverpool need a top-class goalkeeper
Liverpool currently have a problem on their hands with regards the goalkeeper situation.
Simon Mignolet has been responsible for a number of mistakes since joining Liverpool from Sunderland in 2013 - including one against West Brom earlier this month - while Bogdan has demonstrated that he’s no serious candidate for the position of first-choice keeper at Anfield.
Some Liverpool fans would like to see a top-class goalkeeper signed either in January or next summer.
Klopp is reportedly interested in signing Barcelona’s second-choice keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who would surely be an upgrade on both Mignolet and Bogdan, but convincing the Catalan giants to sell the Germany international will be anything but straightforward.
