Just seven months ago, Chelsea were crowned Premier League champions; now, they sit 15th and on 18 points, just three above the relegation zone.
Such dier form has seen Jose Mourinho pay the price and sacked as manager, but the Portuguese didn't deserved to be treated how he was - the players are responsible.
The Blues' squad should be absolutely ashamed of their performances this season. With Stamford Bridge brimming with such world-class talent, they should be up near the top of the Premier League, not languishing towards the bottom of the table.

The players’ attitudes have been disgraceful and the criticism they receive is wholly deserved. It is them who should be on the receiving end of the treatment their now-former manager has faced.
'The manager has lost the dressing room' is something we have heard numerous times before; this accusation has been levelled at Mourinho and his players throughout the season.

Even if the players weren't 100% behind their 52-year-old manager, that is no excuse for their performance levels to be so low. The likes of Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas are paid millions of pounds per year to perform how they're expected to, not to reflect their relationship with the manager.
Diego Costa, Fabregas and Hazard were three of the standout players in the Premier League last season, but this campaign they have gone completely missing. You have to question their passion and dedication towards the club.
Costa, to his credit, always gives his all in a Chelsea shirt and his difficult run may simply be down to a rough patch.
The same cannot be said about the other two, though. Fabregas seems to have lost all flair and energy for no rational reason.
For Hazard, you have to wonder if he is simply waiting for a dream move to Real Madrid. For years the Belgian has said how he wants to be one of the world’s best players alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
He needs to stop living in a dream world. Someone who refuses to give their all simply because they are not fully behind their manager, even when his side need him to stand up and be counted, cannot be considered as one of the best players in the world.
Aside from Willian, Asmir Begovic and perhaps John Terry, not one of Chelsea’s players can honestly say they have given their all this season.
Frankly, they need to take a hard look at themselves, because at the moment, they don’t deserve the privilege of playing football at the highest level.
If they continue with these disgraceful performances that are letting down not only the manager and the coaching staff, but the fans who pay so much money as well, they should not be at a club the size of Chelsea.
