With another year of WWE again almost over, wrestling fans will turn their attention to the start of the road to Wrestlemania.
From the Royal Rumble through to the showcase of the immortals, this is definitely the most exciting time of the year for wrestling fans, which is why we cannot help but start to anticipate what potential big matches could take place. One superstar that everyone is guessing on this year is Mr Hustle, Loyalty and Respect, John Cena.
Whether you love him or hate him, cheer him or boo him, John Cena has been the face of the business for the last decade and has always delivered, especially at Wrestlemania. Cena is currently not active but is sure to make a return for Wrestlemania.

Many WWE fans would love to see a much anticipated John Cena Heel Turn, which if pulled off correctly could be the biggest turn since the Immortal Hulk Hogan turned his back on the fans and join forces with the Outsiders at WCW's Bash on the Beach 1996, becoming Hollywood Hogan and create one of the most dominant factions in history, NWO.
If Cena did make the turn to heel, this would raise the opportunity for some classic Wrestlemania matches with current babyfaces in the business. However, Heel or face, I'm sure there will be a big contest in Texas come 3rd April. So, who could be a potential opponent for the 15 times World Heavyweight Champion?
Bryan is, without doubt, the most loved superstar by the WWE universe today and maybe even all time. He has also had outstanding matches with Cena in the past such as their epic clash at Summerslam 2013 for the WWE title.
The best person Cena could target for a Heel Turn would be Daniel Bryan setting up an unforgettable Wrestlemania encounter and rivalry. This could even prove to be an interesting angle with the Bella twins as they are both publicly in relationships with either superstar.
For years, the idea of John Cena vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania has been on the cards yet has never happened. This would be an interesting contest as the two have rarely faced off in one on one competition. Due to the age of the Undertaker it's hard to believe that he has many more big matches left in him, so if this match does not happen this year it may never.
This would be an epic match between two of the best competitors to perform on the grandest stage of Wrestlemania and would be tricky to pick a winner, besides from the fans.
Cena has been in battle with Triple H and the Authority for years as they have never seen eye to eye with the way things are run in the company. It would be interesting if Cena would make a return to put a stop to the corrupted ways of the Authority once again, which could lead to a Wrestlemania 22 rematch 10 years on.
Reigns is currently one of the biggest stars in WWE and the biggest active Baby Faces on the roster. Reigns vs Cena would be a great contest and could be seen as a "Passing of the Torch" from one generation's biggest star to another. This contest could also be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and main event the show.
Over the last three years, it could be said that the Beast Brock Lesnar has been Cena's biggest rival with some brutal encounters, such as the gruesome extreme rules match in 2012 and the trip to Suplex city at Summerslam 2014.
Whenever these two powerhouses meet it's always a war, so it must be good business sending them to battle one more time on the biggest stage of them all.
These are the superstars I personally feel could match up against Cena this approaching Wrestlemania.
Who do you think is a worthy opponent for John Cena?
