Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has made Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy his No.1 priority transfer target for the January transfer window.
This has been reported by the Mirror, who claim that the Dutch coach is set to dip into the transfer window despite only being in charge of the west London outfit on a temporary basis.
While Chelsea have struggled throughout the course of the season, Vardy has enjoyed remarkable success for the Foxes.

With 15 goals, Vardy currently leads the way as the Premier League's top scorer, while he's also broke a Premier League record of scoring in 11 consecutive matches.
Hiddink, then, may well act next month and the revered coach has insisted that the transfer market is open to him despite his short-term contract.
Hiddink could act
As per the Mirror, he stated: “Let's go into the next few games and then we'll see. We didn't stipulate, but we know also that it's always open.
“But first I like to embed a bit now in the first days and games, and then we'll see what happens. It depends on the results.
“Being interim manager is very good to your question... The future has to be determined by whoever is in charge then, not now.”
But Vardy should stay
Of course, if Chelsea really do make their move, the England international should consider the high-profile switch, but he'd be foolish to leave the Foxes at this stage.
Under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri, Vardy appears to be going from strength-to-strength and could help the club secure success this term.
Vardy should also be wary of putting his place at Euro 2016 at risk. As it stands, there's no way England boss Roy Hodgson can leave the forward out, but things could turn sour for him if he opted to depart Leicester next month.
