United has been sounded out as a possible destination for the three-time Ballon d'Or winner should Real Madrid decide it is time to recoup some of their £80 million outlay from six years prior.
Ronaldo has previously stated his desire to end his career at the Bernabeu, however, Los Blancos could be tempted into looking towards a future without their talismanic number seven.
If that were the case, there would not be shortage of clubs queuing up to sign the 30-year-old.
