It was only a few months ago that Diouf sensationally accused Gerrard of being a racist, hitting back after the former Liverpool captain named the African as the worst player he played with at Anfield in his autobiography.
And now 34-year-old has given it both barrels to Gerrard and Carragher, who are close friends thanks to their many years together with the Merseyside outfit.

Diouf: Gerrard is an egotist
“Steven Gerrard is a great club player but an egotist,” Diouf commented. "He didn’t care about Liverpool winning – all that mattered for him was getting on the scoresheet.
Diouf: I hate Carragher
“The person I would least want to spend Christmas with is Jamie Carragher. I hate him. “He was the biggest turkey I’ve seen on a pitch. I found him useless.”
Diouf: Neil Lennon is a 'd***head'
Still, Gerrard and Carragher got off lightly compared to Neil Lennon, who was described as a “d***head” by the former Senegal international.
“I didn’t know Neil Lennon but saw his face and have always hated him,” Diouf added. “He was at Celtic and I was at Rangers and the two clubs were at war with each other.
"He is a d***head and I’ve never liked him.
“At the end of the Liverpool-Celtic game in the UEFA Cup he asked me for my shirt but I never gave it to him. I would still not give him it today."
How will Gerrard and Carragher react?
Rather than insult, there’s a good chance that Diouf’s comments will amuse Gerrard and, in particular, Carragher.
We can’t wait to see how the former Liverpool defender reacts on Twitter later today…
