Luis Enrique is concerned that Barcelona need to sign at least one more attack-minded player in January as cover for Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

This is according to Catalan newspaper Sport, who understand that Enrique is putting pressure on the Barcelona board to sign another player in addition to Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal, who are finally eligible to play next month with the club’s FIFA ban almost complete.

Enrique is reportedly considering three options - and you can see them by scrolling a little further down this page.

Munir and Sandro have both failed to take their opportunities this season - there’s a chance that neither player will make the grade at the Camp Nou - and Enrique is acutely aware, ahead of the business end of the season, that he needs another attacking player as suitable cover in case one of the ‘MSN’ are injured or suspended.

Gerard Deulofeu could be another option for Barcelona - the reigning European champions can re-sign the winger for £6.3 million if they wish - but the player is happy with his current situation at Everton following his permanent transfer in the summer.

Subsequently, there are three players that Enrique has identified as potential new signings.

Denis Suarez | Villarreal

Like Deulofeu, Barcelona have the option to re-sign Denis Suarez after a buy-back clause was inserted into his Villarreal contract.

The 21-year-old has impressed at El Madrigal this season and Enrique recently told reporters - per Goal - that he was interested in bringing the Spain Under-21 international back to the Camp Nou.

"I think I've seen him play well, he played with Sevilla but could have played more there," the Barca boss commented. "He looks good and is playing well and could be an option for us.”

Nolito | Celta Vigo

With eight goals and five assists from 15 appearances, Nolito has been one of La Liga’s standout players this season.

Without the technically gifted Spaniard it’s unlikely Celta Vigo would currently be occupying fourth spot in the league.

His performances have been so impressive that Arsenal are reportedly amongst several clubs keen to secure his services - but Barcelona could pip the Gunners to his signature over the coming weeks.

Jonathan Soriano | Red Bull Salzburg

Jonathan Soriano scored goals for fun for Barcelona ‘B’ but was never given a fair crack of the whip in the first team by Pep Guardiola.

The former Spain Under-21 international subsequently left the Camp Nou for Red Bull Salzburg in 2012 - and he hasn’t looked back since.

Soriano has scored a remarkable 149 goals in 165 matches for the Austrian outfit and could be offered a second chance to finally make it at Barcelona, at the ripe old age of 30, in 2016.
