Brock Lesnar is set to return to WWE in the coming weeks and as of yet there are no rumors to suggest who The Beast will return to face.
It will be a big ask for anyone to step up after the Lesnar/Undertaker feud, a rivalry that picked up a Slammy, but Kevin Owens could be the one to thrive in that position.
OWENS VS LESNAR?
Owens is a human wrecking ball, just this week alone he has taken out both Neville and Dean Ambrose and it could be that WWE want Owens to continue down this route to make it look like only one man can stop him.

WOULD THE RIVALRY WORK?
Kevin Owens would not be normally categorized as a heel, given that he is cheered a lot of the time and he is well-liked online. Owens would be described as a tweener, something that Lesnar could also be described as.
Lesnar has been well-liked for a long time, so it would be interesting to see if WWE allows the Universe to choose who they decide is a face and who is a heel because it would be a money-making rivalry.
Kevin Owens needs something to get his teeth into after he failed to pick up the Slammy for Newcomer last week, he needs another feud like his one with John Cena and Lesnar could be the one to give him that.
WrestleMania season is right around the corner and these two heavyweights would easily be able to build a storyline that could play a part in the show in Texas in April. It would be a viable option is WWE were looking for one going forward.
