Recent rumors regarding Nikki Bella's return to action has many of the WWE Universe questioning whether or not the Divas Championship is cursed.
AJ Lee became the longest reigning Divas Champion back in 2014 and retired following WrestleMania 31, Nikki Bella then usurped this record reign when she held the title for 305 days earlier this year and she is now hinting that retirement could also be in her near future.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THE DIVAS?
Charlotte and Paige didn't appear on this week's episode of Raw because once again WWE had talent playing double duty whilst there was a second live event the same night.

This meant that once again Becky Lynch was the focal point of the Divas story line, and she faced Sasha Banks this week in a match that had very little riding on it.
Merely months after that sensational match between Bayley and Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover Brooklyn, the same venue's crowd were treated to a match that lacked the passion and drive that the NXT one delivered.
The match itself was another solid encounter from two of the better Divas on the roster at present, but there was nothing riding on the match. Sasha Banks still is unsure if she is face or heel and the remaining two teams have been rendered pointless.
WHERE IS NATALYA?
Natalya hasn't been seen in WWE for a long time now with Dave Meltzer suggesting that WWE don't have anything for the former Divas Champion because they are focusing on the three teams, something Natalya is not a part of.
Team Bella is missing a crucial member and friction has been shown in Team Bad as well, so it would seem the easiest step for WWE would be to disband the teams now and allow Naomi and Sasha to feud and Becky Lynch to go after Charlotte for the Divas Championship.
Paige, and her recent heel turn, has been one of the biggest talking points for the Divas in 2015, but she has been around the Divas Championship so much over the past two years that it is only fair that someone else is allowed to step up now.
After a fantastic year for the Divas in WWE and women in sport as a whole, 2016 needs to continue this, which means the creative team need to give the Divas something that they can work with.
The Ironwoman match made history earlier this year, ideas like that need to be at the forefront of plans next year so that 2016 can truly be the year of the diva.
