Mathieu Debuchy tells Wenger he wants Arsenal exit

Published Add your comment

Arsenal fans are busy getting excited over who might arrive in January, but many of them may have forgotten to contemplate potential exits. One fairly big one looks destined to be Mathieu Debuchy, who has apparently informed Arsene Wenger during talks over his future that he wants to move on. Supposedly the Frenchman is keen to ensure his place in his national team for Euro 2016 isn’t put in jeopardy, and so he’s informed Wenger of a wish to leave. Roma and Lyon are believed to be the frontrunners for his signature. Moving on, Wenger himself has confirmed that Arsenal will be busy in the winter market. In a statement sure to have been well received by the Gunners faithful, Wenger hinted there would be business done next month as his side are too short to deal with all the competitions.
